Welcome to the See of Beverley: thank you for visiting our website.  

I hope that through this site you get a flavour of the life those who look to the See of Beverley for pastoral and sacramental care share together.  We are first and foremost a family of Christians within the Church of England Province of York seeking to remain faithful to the teaching of Jesus and the Apostles within the 21st century context we find ourselves in.  Most of our parishes are Anglo-Catholic and are affiliated to The Society, under the patronage of Saint Wilfrid and Saint Hilda, and as such we hope to bring a positive and life-giving experience of faith to both life-long Christians and those who are just beginning to explore what it might mean to be a follower of Jesus today.
