Christ Church is a diverse, vibrant traditional Catholic Parish with very exciting opportunities for a new Parish Priest. We have a great legacy here, but very much live in the present and are looking to the future.
We are a parish under the Pastoral and Sacramental Care of the Bishop of Beverley.
We are looking for a prayerful priest, grounded in scripture, who lives and breathes the sacramental life of the Church, is a communicative teacher of the faith, and can also lead us in augmenting our musical tradition.
We play a full part in our deanery and diocese and would expect the same of our new priest. This is a unique post as we are looking for one priest for one parish at present; however we work closely with our neighbouring parish of St Crispin’s Withington and ultimately our future mission lies together with one incumbent for both parishes.
Ideally located within the city of Manchester, we have exciting possibilities to reach out in mission to the local population, young and old, families, schools and universities.
