See of Beverley Children and Youth Ministry Network Meeting 8th February 2025 (10 am – 3pm)
We are holding the first of several networking events open to anyone who interested in developing, currently volunteering or paid in this area of ministry.
The first of these events will take place at St Matthew’s Carver Street in Sheffield.
The aims of the day will include:
- To be invited to take part in a short service where prayer will be offered for this area of ministry
- An opportunity to meet/network with others to share thoughts and ideas over lunch
- Update on developments on Children and Youth Ministry development within the See of Beverley
- Opportunities for those involved in this ministry to share what is working in their context
- Sharing of useful information on what to expect and tips for taking young people to the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage
- Sharing of ideas relating to creating context appropriate opportunities/resources for children and young people which focus on enabling participation in worship (Play and Praise areas, pew bags, encouraging participation as servers, children’s liturgy etc)
- Resources to look at and an information pack to take away
