Exploring Advent themes with Mary using icons and poetry
You are warmly invited to a day set apart for prayer, stillness, reflection and fellowship in the peaceful setting of the Priory. The day is open to all adults, lay or ordained.
The addresses will be given by Fr Andrew De Smet, a retired priest who has worked in parish ministry in Portsmouth, Warwickshire and North Yorkshire. He has run a retreat house and served as a Diocesan Pastoral Care and Counselling Adviser. He is a spiritual director and trainer, and during interregna has assisted at St Lawrence’s in York. Fr Andrew also paints icons.
Date and time: 12 December 2026, 10am -5pm
Cost: The Priory asks for a donation of £10 pp on the day, to cover their costs.
