St Jude’s is a warm, friendly and welcoming church. We are in the Anglo-catholic tradition, using modern Common Worship liturgy for most services.
We do not claim to be a ‘trendy’ church (we enjoy traditional hymns and music, for example), but have as our emphasis reverent worship and a prayerful atmosphere, with an appropriate balance between ministry of word and sacrament. Traditional we may be, but we are not too serious or over-formal: there are many occasions when we simply have fun and enjoy ourselves, as any family should.
