The Bishop of Beverley, Bishop Glyn Webster, welcome the appointment of Pope Francis. Bishop Glyn said, “I am sure we will all be praying for him and the Roman Catholic Church. He is clearly an inspired choice to serve the Church at this particular moment in our life. We welcome the strong emphasis of his ministry thus far of giving priority to caring for the poor and justice for all God’s people.
