On Monday 27 May, Bishop Glyn together with clergy and laypeople from all over the See of Beverley, and many others, took part in the National Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Together they shared lively worship and joyful fellowship. Bishop Glyn was encouraged by the age profile of the pilgrims (both clergy and laypeople) and was inspired by the sermon given by Archbishop John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York.
Since then we have learned that the Archbishop has undergone surgery for prostate cancer. We assure him and his family of our prayers.
Photos of the Pilgrimage can be seen here and here.
We thank Graham Howard, the Honorary Shrine Photographer for the use of the image.
